How much sleep do you get each night?

The recommended sleep time amount for healthy adults is between 7-9 hours a night. I know personally if I get less than 7 hours, I can't perform as well with exercise and get very sleepy by 4 pm!

The other key point is we need to make sure we sleep well every night especially when we are training/exercising. As much as you can be "resting" while sitting on the couch it's not the same as sleep. When you go to bed at night this is the time your muscles (including your brain) can truly rest and repair and prepare you for the next day. Keep this in mind next time you don't feel you have your usual energy levels when exercising.
