Why do a fitness challenge?

Here are Terminator Fitness we run a fitness challenge every year! It helps all of the Bootcamp Cranbourne & Blackburn group, and our personal training clients stay motivated over the colder months of the year. It gives everyone that extra little bit of focus to go further and to of course “challenge” themselves.

I thought I would briefly breakdown what is usually involved with us in a fitness challenge as an example, to help you see why a challenge may be a great idea for you! I am also going give you the three top reasons why our members love it each year!

Typically in a challenge you will have specific timeframe set, this could be days, weeks, or months. This helps participants to set goals and understand what their routine will look like across the challenge. A challenge will often include some sort of fitness test or benchmark setter at the start so you have something measurable to work with and then can use this to see how far you have come at the end. Lastly, there are parameters set as to how much you need to move each week/day and usually complete certain tasks that are set which can be done in your own time that help you get fitter and stronger. One of the best things you also get with our challenge is the fun component, everyone works in teams to achieve their goals and to also compete in a little bit of a friendly competition!

A Terminator Fitness challenge is suitable for any fitness level and lifestyle because they are designed to help everyone do the tasks at their own level and to fit it in with your everyday life. This way you feel accomplished. A challenge doesn’t mean you are doing exercise every minute of the day, it just means you are setting yourself a goal, that helps you stay on track, and then reaping the benefits of it at the end. It is a challenge for a reason, it is designed to get you out of your comfort zone and take you to the next level!
