Learn what Terminator Fitness has to offer

This month, I thought I’d go a little different and talk about all of the different types of class styles and training we offer at Terminator Fitness. A lot of people may come across Terminator Fitness and possibly think all we have to offer is a high intensity style of training based on our name. However there is much more to us than that, and I am here to tell you exactly what this is. Our range of classes offer so much more than just high intensity for fitness. We offer a wide range of classes which is an all in one package, suitable for any fitness level. Our classes are designed to give YOU a well rounded exercise routine.

Below, I am going to give you some insights about some of the different sessions that make up this all in one package:

  • In-person Bootcamp. Yes this is Bootcamp! It is our most popular style of workout we offer and runs in both our locations Cranbourne West and Blackburn North. The sessions are all run by yours truly (Frank). I have been training people for well over 12 years and know how to drive you to work hard during the session to get you closer to your goals. Bootcamps are a combination of cardio and strength exercises. They are designed so you can tailor the workout to your own abilities. It’s not always about running or doing burpees, we do take the time to work on strength as well. You get the best of both worlds and bootcamp is perfect training style to assist with weight loss. The other bonus is you get to train with likeminded people and have fun at the same time.

  • BOXERFIT - This session is a boxing style class that we run ONLINE every Monday night! It’s a great way to start the week and also a great way shape and tone your whole body, especially the arms and shoulders! If you don’t have any boxing gloves at home that’s totally fine, you don’t need them. You can do the whole session body weight or by holding a couple of light weights. BOXERFIT integrates some core training as well as supersets of other moves to break up the boxing combinations. This is definitely a favourite of our members!

  • Muscle Factory - This session is all about STRENGTH. During our workout we focus on slower movement and bringing awareness to the technique of some of the most common moves such as squats, deadlifts, pushups and rows. It’s a great workout to break up the week and move the focus away from the high intensity vibe, to help you feel stronger in day to day life and stronger the next time your train HIIT.

  • Core Chain - A session focused on strengthening your abs, glutes, and whole posterior chain. We really slow things down in this session as it is not about how many calories you burn! Having a strong core is important to feel supported in all of your other exercise you do, so it’s important to integrate this into your weekly schedule.

  • TABATA - This is our Friday early morning wake up call! It’s another favourite of our members and it’s all over in just 30 mins! Tabata is a style of HIIT training where we work for short periods of time at high intensity and rest for short periods of time. This workout is BODYWEIGHT only which will challenge you, but will also give you the great fitness benefits too. Like all of our workouts this session can be tailored to your own individual abilities.

  • Yoga - A fantastic way to wind down, stretch and focus on your flexibility. Often we neglect this part of our training and it is just as important as any of the above sessions. We have highly experienced yoga teachers who teach 3 classes a week, one in Blackburn and the others online. Whether you want to feel the benefits of stretching and relief from all of your other workout types or you just want to experience the mindfulness, our yoga has got you covered!

There are also other great sessions that I have not mentioned here, however you can download a copy of our current timetable HERE to find out more, and to see all of our session times.
